Encouraging children to persevere in the face of academic challenges

At PROMIS, we believe that immigrant students deserve to be happy and successful at school. Our activities and tutoring create a 360-degree support network around children experiencing academic challenges, paving the path to success.

Support services for students ages 6 to 12

To access this service, your child must be referred by a teacher from their school. Our team of 120 academic support volunteers work on-site at school to create a link between you, your child, and the academic institution.

We can help in a number of ways:

Saturday School encourages children to find joy in reading and writing through fun learning activities.
Projet Ado is a group program for students in grades 7 and 8.
PROMIS day camp offers 4 weeks of summer programming for children ages 6 to 16.
Spring break camp offers programming for children ages 6 to 12.

In addition to supporting your child, we will guide you towards other PROMIS services as needed, such as employment assistance and French courses.
