Tax season is approaching, along with the start of our Tax Clinic!
At PROMIS’ Tax Clinic, you can receive help from our volunteers to file your first tax declaration for only $10!
Eligibility requirements:
- Newly arrived in Quebec in 2025;
- First tax return;
- By appointment only.
Eligibility criteria (maximum income in 2025):
- Single person: $40 000
- Adult with one dependent child: $55 000
- For each additional dependent, you are entitled to an extra $5 000 in maximum income.
- Couple: $55 000
- For each dependent, you are entitled to an extra $5 000 in maximum income.
- Interest income must not exceed $1 200.
Fees:
- Registration fee is $10 per person

- Our Tax Clinic will take place on Saturdays March 28, April 4, April 11, April 18, and April 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Please note that spaces are limited and appointments will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Our team includes about 15 volunteers who are ready to help you. We speak several languages, including French, English, Russian, Ukrainian, Persian, and Arabic. All tax returns are reviewed by our accountant to ensure a reliable and secure service.
