It’s the official and most widely spoken language in the province, from public institutions and workplaces to teaching, communications, retail, and business. PROMIS is here to make the process simple and accessible.
Learning French in Montreal starts here.
4 semester of free French courses every year
- Beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels
- Instruction includes oral, written, and spoken French
- In-class or remote lessons
- Free of any charge
- 11 weeks per semester
PROMIS offers full-time and part-time classes.
- Full-time : 25 to 30h a week, 5 days a week
- Animations from a mediator
- Fast and effective learning
- Participation financial aid is available
- Part-time : 4 to 12h a week
- Morning, afternoon, and nighttime slots on weekdays and weekends (schedule varies based on proficiency level)
