Warehouse Clerk

We are currently looking for a motivated Warehouse Clerk to join our team. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager and has a fixed schedule from Monday to Friday of 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Prepare orders, pick, pack and ship merchandise
- Accept materials as they come in, signing shipping paperwork (waybills, reports) as applicable
- Answer shipping door in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare bills of lading, invoices and customs documents
- Stack shipment on skids and takes shipment to shipping dock
- Receive material and verify that incoming shipments are correct by comparing items and quantities against bill of lading, purchase orders, manifest or other records
- Keep warehouse clean and shipping area well organized
- All other tasks as assigned
Skills & Competencies:
- Positive attitude and ability to work with others in a team environment is essential
- Verbal and written communication skills in English and French
- Basic working knowledge of computers and computer systems (UPS Connect V11.2.0 an asset)
- Must be organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task
- Ability to operate forklift (an asset)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Education & Experience:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position
